Volunteer Position Available!
We need someone to review and provide editing expertise for incoming email submissions to the newspaper, The Connection. The editor will then submit the content to our layout team in a timely manner. The Mission of the Month for August is Dobie Primary School, a campus of approximately 650 students in pre-K, preschool programs for children with disabilities, and kindergarten.

Music Ministry is seeking new members in all groups and ensembles. If you wish to participate in singing Faure’s Requiem for an All Saints Vesper Concert November 7, come to a workshop August 28 at 9am. Call Sheryl at ext. 29 for more information.
Valerie Burton is asking for disposable diapers of any size (no pull-ups) for our Haiti children. Bring them to the church by Sunday, September 12th.

Sunday, September 5th, Quest Class will begin a 6-week study entitled, “Dealing With Change”. Quest Class will meet in room #2 at 9:45am and all adults are welcome for study, discussion and fellowship.
Pastor Jack’s Bible Study begins on Thursday, September 9th at 7pm. All are welcome to join us as we discuss a study entitled Saving Jesus.
Jr./Sr. High Choir begins SUNDAY from 4:20 to 5pm. Let’s sing, play guitars and experience contemporary Christian music together. Bring your guitars & favorite music!
Disciple I Bible Study - Sundays from 4:30 to 6pm beginning September 26. Over 34 weeks we will read the vast majority of the Biblical text and learn and grow together. Sign up in the narthex today, and for more information, contact Julie at ext. 12.
